What large print changes here
Writing lines go from 7.5 mm to 8.7 mm, which is wide-ruled rather than college-ruled. Type sizes go up throughout, and the margins widen from 12.7 mm to 15 mm so nothing sits near the edge of the sheet.
The rules stay at the same grey. Making them darker would be the obvious change and it is the wrong one: darker rules compete with the handwriting rather than supporting it, and legibility improves more from line spacing than from contrast.
Who this is actually for
Older users and anyone with reduced vision, obviously. But also anyone whose handwriting is simply large, which is common and rarely accommodated, and anyone using a thicker pen. A fountain pen or a marker needs more line height than a fine biro, and most planners are designed around the fine biro.
