Weekly planner with 15 minute increments

Quarter-hour rows for people who bill or plan in quarter hours. Fewer hours fit on a sheet at this density, so the range is deliberately narrower than the hourly grid.

Why this is a separate sheet

Fifteen-minute rows are four times as dense as hourly rows, and the trade is unavoidable: at a legible row height a quarter-hour grid covers about eight hours where an hourly grid covers fifteen. Putting both densities on one file would mean one of them is wrong.

The people who need this are specific. Therapists working 50-minute hours with 10-minute gaps, tutors running 45-minute sessions, clinicians with staggered appointments, and anyone reconciling billable time at the end of a week. For everyone else the 30-minute grid is roomier and easier to write in.

What you get

Eight hours by default, 9am to 5pm, in quarter-hour rows. Solid rules on the hour, lighter rules at the quarter, so the hour boundaries stay readable at a glance while the subdivisions are there when you need them.

Letter and A4 only. Quarter-hour rows on A5 or Half Letter would fall below the legibility floor, and rather than shipping a version that looks fine on screen and is unusable on paper, this page does not offer those sizes.

Questions

Why not A5?

A quarter-hour grid needs roughly forty rows. On A5 that puts each row under 5mm, below the 6.35mm narrow-ruled minimum. The file would look correct on a screen and be unwritable on paper.

Can I change the hours?

Yes. The generator takes any start and end hour, and holds the row height above the floor. If your range will not fit it moves to 30-minute rows and says so.
