Chore charts and cleaning schedules are different things

A cleaning schedule assigns tasks to DAYS. A chore chart assigns tasks to PEOPLE. They look similar and they solve different problems: one is about when the work happens, the other about who does it.

If you live alone you want the cleaning schedule. If the argument in your household is about fairness rather than timing, you want this.

Why the boxes are large

A chart that needs a fine liner to mark does not get marked. The tick boxes here are around 6.5 mm, which takes a biro, a marker or a child's pencil without care. It is a small thing and it is the difference between a chart that is used and one that is decorative.
