A schedule is not a planner
A planner is for one specific week and gets thrown away. A schedule holds what repeats, gets pinned up, and stays correct for a term or a rota cycle. That is why this sheet is undated by default and defaults to five days: classes and shifts rarely run at weekends, and a printed date would make it wrong within a week.
Use it for a class timetable, a staff rota, a shift pattern, a recurring appointment structure, or anything else where the same shape repeats and you need it visible rather than remembered.
Five days or seven
Five days gives noticeably wider columns, which matters because schedule entries tend to be names and places rather than short notes. On landscape Letter five columns is roughly 47mm each against 34mm for seven.
Switch to seven in the generator if your rota covers weekends.
