Workout log

A single session with room for every set, rather than a week squeezed onto one page. For anyone actually tracking progressive overload.

A session, not a week

The weekly workout planner fits seven days on a sheet, which means about four exercise rows each. That is fine for planning and too few for logging: a real strength session is six to ten movements with three or four sets apiece.

This sheet gives one session the whole page, which is what you need if you are recording what you actually lifted rather than what you intended to.

Sets, reps and weight, all three

Progressive overload requires knowing all three, and most printable logs track two. Sets and reps tell you the volume but not the load; weight tells you the load but not how much of it you did.

Add a notes column for how it felt. Three weeks of that is more useful for deciding next week's numbers than any amount of remembering.
